AmWINS Group, Inc. (“AmWINS”), a global distributor of specialty insurance products and services, announced today the acquisition of Impact Interactive, an Atlanta-based data and technology company that specializes in employee benefit enrollment systems and dependent eligibility audit services.
“The addition of Impact Interactive to our Group Benefits division gives us the expertise and capabilities needed to be a leader in worksite marketing technology and allows us to deliver improved enrollment and communications technology to our worksite carrier partners,” said M. Steven DeCarlo, CEO of AmWINS.
Founded in 1988, Impact Interactive was one of the first companies to introduce an online benefit enrollment system. That system – called the WeCare® Benefit Enrollment and Communications System – remains one of the most comprehensive enrollment systems available.
“By joining forces with Impact Interactive, we will now be able to provide an online platform to fulfill our voluntary benefits clients’ enrollment and benefit administration needs,” said Samuel H. Fleet, president and CEO of AmWINS Group Benefits. “WeCare® rounds out our enrollment capabilities, giving us the opportunity to provide 100% in-house worksite enrollment solutions to our clients.”
Currently, Impact Interactive has implemented more than 2,000 employer enrollments nationwide and enrolled more than three million individual employees through its relationships with more than 125 benefits brokers.
“We are excited to join the AmWINS family − and about the ability to expand our product range and market coverage with resources now available to us through this partnership,” said John D. Sadrack, co-founder and president of Impact. “AmWINS is an industry leader, and we’re confident that our employees and our clients will benefit from this combination.”
