Since 1957, Amwins Transportation Underwriters' team has provided comprehensive trucking insurance services to short and long-haul trucking operations and now manages a portfolio that includes contractors, limousine operators, environmental haulers and more. Amwins Transportation Underwriters is committed to helping our customers report trucking insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. The first step in the process is ensuring that your claims notice is made to your insurer
as soon as possible and in accordance with policy provisions.
You or your client’s policy will include the appropriate means and conditions by which a claim is to be reported to the insurance carrier. In the event that you do not have this available, please reach out to your underwriter.
Loss Control
A number of our carriers offer loss control support as a benefit to the policy placement, and we are happy to assist in educating you or your clients about these offerings. In addition to these services, ATU has a relationship with a number of loss-control
specialists in the transportation industry and are happy to assist you in finding the best party to assist you with your loss control needs.
