Kristin L. Downey Named Chief Administrative Officer of AmWINS Group, Inc.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 20, 2018) – AmWINS Group, Inc. (“AmWINS”), a global distributor of specialty insurance products and services, announced that Kristin L. Downey has been appointed as the company’s Chief Administrative Officer, effective immediately.

As Chief Administrative Officer, Downey will lead the firm’s human resources, training & development, marketing, and communications functions. Downey will also lead the company’s philanthropic efforts, including the recently formed AmWINS Foundation. Downey has served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources since 2002 and recently took over responsibility for the group’s marketing and communications team.
