M. Steven DeCarlo
M. Steven DeCarlo has served as Chief Executive Officer of AmWINS since December 2000. Prior to joining AmWINS, Mr. DeCarlo held various management positions with Royal & SunAlliance USA, Inc. from 1988 to 2000, including Senior Vice President for Business Insurance (1998-2000) and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Royal Specialty Underwriting Inc., Royal & SunAlliance’s excess and surplus division (1988-1998). He has served on the AmWINS board of directors since he joined AmWINS in December 2000. In 2009, Steve was the winner of Ernst & Young LLC's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year® award in the Carolinas for the financial services category.

Joseph E. (Jeff) Consolino 
Jeff Consolino has served as a director of AmWINS since December 2006. Since February 2013, Mr. Consolino has been with American Financial Group, Inc. an insurance holding company, based in Cincinnati, Ohio with assets in excess of $35 billion, where he is currently Executive Vice President and CFO.  From March 2006 to February 2013, Mr. Consolino was with Validus Holdings, Ltd., a reinsurer based in Bermuda, as President and CFO. Until joining Validus Holdings, Mr. Consolino served as a Managing Director in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch specializing in insurance company advisory and financing transactions. Mr. Consolino also currently serves on the board of directors for American Financial Group and Validus Holdings and as Chairman of the Board of National Interstate Corporation. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in electrical engineering in 1988 and received an M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1992.

Matt Ebbel
Matt Ebbel is a Director at New Mountain Capital, joining the firm in 2003. He previously worked in the Corporate Finance and Strategy group at McKinsey & Co.  Mr. Ebbel received his A.B. in Economics magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2001. He is a Director of Connextions, Inc. and Maritime Holdings L.L.C. (d/b/a Intermarine), and was formerly a Director of Tygris Commercial Finance Group, Inc. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Baljit Dail
Bailjit Dail is a Senior Advisor at New Mountain Capital. From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Dail served in a number of executive roles at Aon Corporation including Chief Executive Officer of Aon Hewitt, Chief Operating Officer of Aon Benfield, Chief Information Officer of Aon Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Aon Consulting. Mr. Dail was also a member of the Aon Corporation Executive Committee.
Prior to Aon, Mr. Dail was a Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he worked across a wide variety of industries including telecom, high-tech, retail and financial services. Prior to McKinsey, he was Vice President, Strategic Planning at Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He has also served in leadership roles at JP Morgan, Marks & Spencer and Ford Motor Company. Mr. Dail serves on the Board of Directors of the Midwest ISO and chairs the Information Technology Committee. He was an advisor on the Mayor of Chicago's Council of Technology Advisors. He was also named a top 25 consultant in 2010 by Consulting Magazine. He holds a B.S. with honors in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in England.
